Purpose: Love2Read Canberra brings together organisations in Canberra with a common interest in the advocacy and celebration of books, literacy, authors, illustrators, and the pleasure of reading, for the purpose of supporting and coordinating such efforts in the ACT and region (including e.g. Goulburn, Yass, Queanbeyan, Cooma, Bungendore).
Objectives: Advocate for books, literacy and the pleasure of reading in Canberra and region. Share information about programs and events, and work strategically to promote them. Identify and action opportunities for relevant collaborative projects, programs and events.

Explore the services and events available at your local public library, including regular children’s storytimes and holiday activities. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in the ACT region.

Visit the CBCA’s own research collection of Australian children’s literature, housed in the University of Canberra Library. The Lu Rees Archives contain an outstanding collection of Australian children’s books (including translations), original artworks, author papers, and other treasures.
